We are Star Dust Kittys. Obsessed and in love with Persian hmalayan kittens & the laughter and sunshine they bring to the world. We love all animals in general, but these guys hold a special place in our hearts. As you can see! 40 years experience with animals, grooming, rescue, nutritional/holistic healing! A responsible breeder! Our Himalayans are our loves! We fell madly in love with the breed 15 years ago & decided to start Star Dust Kittys! All proceeds from our family run small business goes to our rescue efforts. We have an organic/holistic pet supply store & do not sell animals. We have a boarding and grooming facility. We have had a pack of our own huskies for 40 years & half are rescues. We have about 20 rescued cats between out three homes and about 5-10 fosters at any time as well as trying to feed, trap & fix, any locals that we can & keep them warm with hay & igloos. We also have birds, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and have rescued and placed ferrets, wild animals like racoons, or birds. This past year we placed many dogs and cats as well as a Cockateu.
So our animals are NEVER inbred or overbred. Mama & papa and grandparents in many cases are here to meet. Mine are raised in my home around kids and other animals. My moms are raised at her home the same way. We feed all the animals only human grade holistic foods and filtered or spring water. We are CFA n AKC members for many eyes and both our Huskies and Kittys have champion blood lines. We have an agricultural license and a vet tech on premises. We give all shots. Clean with pet safe products and use only natural litters. We love animals! They will never have $$$ on their heads to us. Their health & happiness are first. Without all of our extended family (owners of our huskies and Himmys and adoptive families) we would not be here. Every dime we make goes to keeping afloat and keeping everyone well cared for so all word of mouth references, all followers, make our world and their world brighter! We have so many puppy mills and awful irresponsible breeders selling these animals for less than the cost of our vet visit or our shots/worming & doing all sorts of crimes against them I won't go off about here but things that sicken me.... All around us they are churning them out cheap & ppl are getting sick animals whether it be in the future or right away it's happening. Too many people have come in with nightmare stories and it needs to stop! Spread the word! Adopt first, but if you must buy a purebred find a breeder with experience, who clearly puts love, time, and effort into giving the animals a great start, who does all shots and has a REAL vet health check and guarantee and call to make sure! Make sure mommy at least is there and clean, healthy, well fed, and does not look haggard and overbred! I mean don't be a snob, animals can be messy but they should have all their needs met, toys, be loved obviously! Then CFA or AKC holds people to standards. Inbreeding in not acceptable so these papers are important! If you plan on breeding they will charge you for breeders rights or jut say no. No good breeder would say yeah sure just go ahead! Champion lines means that a dog in their line has won awards for being a great example of their breed. Fixing animals at a few months old is dangerous and unhealthy causing growth issues (at least 1 or 2 hormone cycles are needed for proper growth! Would you stop a tween from getting those hormones that help then develop & grow properly?) like bad bone density & weakness in the immune system and muscles. I have these read these studies done by many highly respected veterinary sources! Also putting a baby under anesthesia no matter what the "pushers" say (vets shelters & ppl either looking more to making $ or prevention than the health of your one animal in particular) 2 pounds is NOT big enough and I personally have seen what fixing too early can cause. Anesthesia can cause lots of complications immediately after. People believe vets all the time and in my experience not all vets know everything or are honest. Don't get me wrong I could recommend quite a few now but could also tell you to steer clear of quite a few too. Anyway, we are here to help, educate, create an rescue, love love love and stand up for all the WONDERFUL ANIMALS IN THIS WORLD.
